About Us

Prior to forming Christy Hill Events, Inc., Christy Hill was Vice
President of Operations for Shag Carpet Productions since their
inception in 2000. Previous work in the field included being a
corporate planner in Southern California for companies such as Sage
Software, Inc. and The Walt Disney Company. Her 13 years of
experience in the special events industry has garnered numerous
awards including The National Association of Catering Executives
Dallas Chapter; New Member of the Year and Affiliate of the year. In
2003 she was awarded the Spirit Award by the International Special
Events Society Dallas chapter followed up with the Pinnacle award in
2004. Serving on several industry boards including Director of
Membership and Affiliate Representative for the National Association
of Catering Executives Dallas Chapter, Vice President of Membership,
First Vice President, President and currently serving as the
Immediate Past President of the International Special Events Society
Dallas Chapter. She is also a student mentor at the University of
North Texas. In her spare time she enjoys playing Texas Hold’em
Poker and volunteering for Mastiff Rescue.
